Apparently, the Weinstein Company is making a push to invest in Asian films, be they directed and starring Asian filmmakers or if they simply take place in Asia and surround Asian themes. One of the films the Weinstein Company has said is in production is a remake of the Hong Kong flick "Come Drink With Me" that will apparently…be directed by Quentin Tarantino. The original "Come Drink With Me" is a 1966 Hong Kong martial arts picture that's set in the Ming Dynasty that starred Cheng Pei-Pei and Yuen Hua. The film is considered one of the best martial arts films ever made. If this is true that Tarantino is remaking the film, there will be a lot of complainers (hell, there are still people bitching about how "Reservoir Dogs" ripped off John Woo flicks). But remember how badass the kung fu sequences were from Kill Bill? This could kick major ass. Watch Video On Source Page
